DESCRIPTION
The Celandine Poppy is a perennial plant, native to eastern North
America. It grows to 1 1/2 feet in height and prefers filtered shade.
It flowers in April with bright yellow blooms that form in clusters.
The Celandine Poppy is a popular plant for woodland gardens. The plants
may be seen along roads in the Paint Rock valley and at the Huntsville Botanical Garden
The plants are easy to grow from seed or purchased
transplants. If seed is not available locally, it can be purchased from supply
companies listed on the internet. Enter the genus and species name

plant sales.
